I have a nice house, I bought it when I moved to this town for work and it’s really nice, and in a great location, I rented it out.

I’ve had a few inquiries about it being used to film a music video, I rent it out short/long term so I guess the location is appealing.

I don’t mind people filming in public places all the time, and I’m not against filming a video at all, I just don’t want it in front of my house. I don’t care if it gets out on social media or not.

I reached out to the production company and said that I wasn’t okay with them filming in front of my house. They tried to convince me that I would be paid a lot of money to let them do it. I said no, and that the money wouldn’t change my mind.

My friend who is one of the artists told me that he really wanted to film it in front of MY HOUSE and he would set up and clean up and not bring any equipment that wouldn’t be able to film the actual performance. He also offered to pay me extra.

I still said no, I don’t want anyone filming in front of my house. I explained to my friend why I didn’t want them to film there, and he tried to convince me.

Now a lot of my friends are pissed at me for not letting him film it, and think that I am being stubborn.

AITA?
