Not all of us are looking for sex.

A common criticism of the incel movement is that we're all just projecting our sexual frustrations onto the larger world.

While that is true for many of us, I'd like to think that I'm a bit different.

I have no interest in sex. Not because I'm asexual, not because of depression, not because I'm ugly. Just because.

And because of that, I get told to "man up" and that I'm just "afraid to try."

I'd like to think that I'm just a bit different, that I don't need validation from women, that I'm not looking for validation. I don't need sex to be validated. I don't need sex to be whole.

But this is the internet, and everyone here is very likely to think that I'm lying, or that I'm just afraid to try and am projecting those feelings into my ideology. I'll be downvoted and told I'm just afraid to admit my sexual desires.

I'd just like to say to all of you out there: don't assume that I'm just afraid to try, that I'm afraid to approach women. I'm not. I don't want to approach them. I don't want to try. I don't want to have sex with them. I don't want to have sex with anyone.

And if you don't believe me, well, you're just another part of the reason I don't feel the need to try and approach anyone in the first place.
