The one that got away (don't want to start a rant but just wanted to share my story)

A long time ago, I dated this girl. We had met online, but it wasn't online that we first got to know each other. She had made a video about me and my hobbies. We had first spoken to each other over discord. We had played online games together. And then I had sent her a video that showed what my hobbies were. I had never really made videos like that before or after, but she had made like 5 of them. <br><br>Anyway, we had gone on a date a few times. We were both from different countries, so she had come to my country. She had never left her country, so she had been excited about the trip. <br><br>The first time we had met, we had went to the city and played some games. I had also made her a little gift, but she hadn't opened it until we got to the car and I had asked her to open it. She had gotten the gift, which was a book that we had talked about over discord and a little toy. I had really liked her, and I had really wanted to make her happy.<br><br>I had told her that I loved her and she had said that she was scared. I had asked why and she said that she thought I was going to say no. She was scared about having a kid, but I had never said I wanted a kid. I had said that I didn't want a kid right now. I didn't want a kid for at least 5 years. <br><br>I had thought that it would be enough time. I had thought that I would have gotten a job, a house, and saved up some money. But she was scared that I would have changed my mind. I would never lie to her or hurt her. I loved her and I wanted to be with her. I had said that if I ever did cheat on her, she could leave me. I would never try to keep her if she wanted to leave. She had said that she wanted to stay with me.<br><br>I had told her that if she ever got pregnant and she didn't want to have a kid, she could get an abortion. She had said that she didn't want to get an abortion. She would never get an abortion. She had said that she wanted to be with me.<br><br>I had told her that I wanted to be with her. But I was scared that she wouldn't be able to stay in my country. She had said that she was scared of flying and she would never want to leave her country. She would never come to my country.
