Why do incels hate the 2016 election? Was it really that bad?

I’ve seen a lot of people mention the 2016 election but not really specify what exactly was wrong with it. I’ve seen people say that Trumps victory is why they are incels. I’m confused about this, so is the election why incels exist? Or is it just an excuse to make a statement about society.
