It's admissible in court to ask for your ex's contact info in custody battles.

This blew my mind when I found out. So apparently you can do it because it's "relevant" to the case, as it's "evidence" of his character, and how he interacts with women. This was brought to my attention when I got served divorce papers from my ex-wife, who I had been separated from for 6 years. I haven't even talked to her in 4 years and the only reason I'm getting divorced is because the courts are forcing me to. The lawyers for my wife have been saying to the courts that I am an "abusive, controlling, and manipulative man who has abused my wife and disrespected the women in my life", so apparently now it's admissible to ask for my ex-wife's contact info so the court can contact her to get my contact info and verify that I'm a piece of shit.
