The last white Pharisees

The Pharisees were a Jewish sect of priests who sought to maintain Jewish law. They were so rigid that they made up rules that were not even in Jewish scripture. They were hypocrites that would perform rituals to show how holy they were while they cheated on their wives and otherwise acted immorally. Jesus railed against them and many of his teachings were aimed at exposing them as hypocrites. When the Romans destroyed Jerusalem, the Pharisees ceased to exist.<br><br>But, if we substitute the word Jew for Pharisees and the word scripture for Talmud, we will find a modern-day Pharisee.
