Who is buying all these guns???

I’ve observed a massive increase in both gun sales and people carrying in my area over the past 6 months. Everyone I know that works at a gun store says their sales have doubled or tripled since November. I’m not necessarily pro or anti-gun, I’m just confused. Who the hell is buying all these guns?? The left says its irrational right wingers buying guns because we’re gonna start a civil war. Is anyone else observing the same thing? What’s the general opinion on it?
