I wonder how many mass shooters actually care about gun rights

I think many people in this sub believe that mass shooters do not care about gun laws because they are often unable to grasp the idea that there are many reasons why they commit mass shootings, and gun rights is only one of them. <br><br>I think this is a cop out and I do not believe this is true for most of these people. <br><br>The entire reason these shootings happen in the US and not the rest of the world is because guns are prevalent, widely available, and so easy to purchase. The second reason is that the media gives them exactly what they want. <br><br>I think that if these shootings happened in other countries, many of these mass shooters would be unable to commit them, not because they are bad people, but because they are not able to obtain a gun. <br><br>I'm not saying that every mass shooter in the world would become one in the US, but I'm sure a healthy percentage of them would. <br><br>These people are often not the "I want to live off grid with 200 guns", they are the average everyday person who has had a bad life experience and wants to die with blood on their hands, and will kill themselves after the fact. <br><br>I think these people would be prevented from committing these crimes if it was not so easy to get a gun. <br><br>So why do these shootings happen less in other countries? Is it because they have stricter gun laws? <br><br>Yes. <br><br>I think most mass shooters want to die. And want a lot of people to die. They want to be famous. They want to be feared and talked about. <br><br>They want to do as much damage as possible. <br><br>I think if it was not easy for these people to purchase guns, they would be forced to carry out these attacks in a different way. <br><br>I don't think these people hate the US government. I don't even think most of them hate anyone. <br><br>I just think they are very disturbed and unable to deal with the fact that they are dying. <br><br>They want to die. And they want to take as much of the world with them as possible. <br><br>I think most mass shooters in the US could not commit mass shootings in the EU, Australia, Canada, or any other country with stricter gun laws. <br><br>They would be prevented from doing so because it is not as easy to purchase guns. <br><br>I think many mass shooters want to be famous. They want to be talked about. <br><br>They want to be feared. <br><br>I don't think they hate the US government. I don't think they hate anyone. <br><br>I just think they are very very disturbed people. <br><br>They want to die, and they want to die in a big way. <br><br>And they want to be talked about. <br><br>They want to be remembered. <br><br>So they purchase a lot of guns, and they kill as many people as possible, and then they kill themselves. <br><br>And then they are talked about. <br><br>And remembered. <br><br>Yes, I think these shootings happen more in the US because of guns, but I don't think these shooters hate the US government or the US people. <br><br>I just think they are very very disturbed people.
