What would you do if the government said "guns are bad and we're banning them"?

This is hypothetical of course. But let's say for shits and giggles that the government came out and said "gun ownership is bad, so we're taking all of them away". What would you do?<br><br>I know I'd be on the fence. On one hand I want to stand up for what's right and not let them take my gun. On the other hand, I don't want to die over a piece of metal. I guess it all depends how they went about it.<br><br>What do you think you would do?
