About 5 minutes ago, my friend randomly asked if I wanted to go outside and shoot some guns. We grabbed my AR15 and went down to the desert with his Glock and shotgun. About 10 minutes in, he asks me to hold his Glock for a sec, and then he's gonna shoot my AR. I took the gun and held it at my side. He went over to my AR and shot it, but I don't think he realized the round had been removed from the upper. The next thing I hear is a loud noise coming from behind me and then the Glock goes flying out of my hand. I look down and realized I've been shot in the hand. I immediately start screaming, and my friend comes running over. He asks if I'm okay, and I tell him to check my hand, which he does and realizes the round went through. We both freak out and are cursing like crazy. My friend is trying to open the cylinder on his Glock, but it won't open, so he grabs a knife and starts trying to open it that way, eventually managing to get the spent casing out. He then realizes there is no more ammunition in the cylinder, which is a good thing. My hand is severely injured, and I'm pretty sure I need stitches. I don't think my friend is in any trouble, but it was definitely an accident. I don't blame him at all, but I do hope my hand heals quickly.
