My daughter (3) told me a story in her baby talk language. I replied in the same language and it's one of the most interesting things I've ever seen.

I was watching my 3 year old daughter for the week, so I went over to pick her up from her mom's place.

I was waiting outside while her mom went to take a shower, when my daughter comes outside with a big smile and starts babbling away in her baby talk language.

"Ma ma ga ma! Ma ma ga ga ga ma ma ga ga, ma ma ma! Ga ma ma ga! Ga ma ga ma ma! Ma ma, ma! Ma! Ma ma ga ma, ma ga ma! Ma, ma! Ma ga ma! Ma! Ma ma, ma ma!"

I responded, "Ma ma, ma! Ga! Ga ma ma ga ma! Ma! Ma! Ma! Ma ga! Ma ga ma!"

She responded with "Ma! Ma! Ma! Ma! Ga! Ma! Ga ma ma! Ma ga ma ma ma! Ma ma ga ga, ga ma ma!"

I said "Ma! Ma! Ga ma! Ma ma ma ma ma! Ma ga ma!"

And she replied "Ga ma! Ma! Ma ga! Ma! Ma ma! Ma! Ma ma!"

We went on like this for several exchanges back and forth. I kept thinking she was going to start speaking proper English, but nope. She was having none of it.

After a bit, I asked if she wanted a snack. She responded with something like "Ma ma ga! Ga! Ma! Ma! Ma! Ma ma!"

I said "Ga ma! Ma ma! Ga ma!"

And she said "Ma! Ga ma! Ga ma! Ga ma ma!"

And I said "Ga ma ma ma ga! Ma ga!"

She said "Ga ma! Ga! Ma ga! Ma! Ma! Ma! Ma!"

And we kept going.

This was probably about the tenth exchange when we started getting interrupted by the other people in the room.

After I got home and left her for a bit and came back, we didn't continue in this language, which I was disappointed about.

This is the most fascinating thing that's ever happened to me.
