China is a problem for everyone. The EU and US should work together to resolve this

For those reading who think that they live in a zero-sum game where if China loses it must be bad for everyone else, let me present you a few arguments to the contrary.

Firstly, China has no interest in a war with the US or the EU, or even India. The reason they don’t invade Taiwan or any other country in the region is because they know it would trigger an all-out war with the US. China has no chance of winning this war, as they are currently being outproduced and outspennded by the US. The reason why China has a massive military is because they are trying to deter the rest of the world from attacking them. But the rest of the world knows this and is working to prevent war, not to start it. The US and China have been in a war over Taiwan already (the first of the 21st century), and that war was the Ukraine conflict. China supports the separatists in Ukraine because they see themselves in them. They are fighting for their right to self-determination, just as Taiwan has the right to self-determination.

But China’s threat to global security is not only military, but economic as well. The reason why the rest of the world is in a state of stagflation at the moment, and why the US is printing money at such a high rate, is because the Chinese have refused to sell goods to Russia. China and the US are in a state of economic war, where China is trying to starve the rest of the world into submission by cutting off all trade to the US and the EU, but then also cutting off all trade to Russia. The US has responded by printing money and flooding the market with dollars, but this is only sustainable for so long. The reason why the US can print so much money is because it is backed by the reserve currency. The rest of the world holds dollars in reserve because they trust the US to print less money than they trust China to print. But if everyone else is printing money, who will the world trust?

China also threatens global security in terms of their lack of transparency, their lack of human rights, and their authoritarian government. They have the worst human rights record of any developed country on Earth. But the Chinese don’t want to be transparent and accountable to the people, so they can keep their human rights record under wraps forever.

China is not just a problem for the US and the EU, but also for the rest of the world. China is not the friend that developing countries want, because they will use any excuse to steal IP and steal jobs from other countries. China has stolen so much IP from other countries that it is widely regarded as the most prolific IP thief of all time.

So how should we deal with this problem? We should use our military power to make war on China, but only as a last resort. If all else fails, we will have to use military force to stop them. But for now, let us use our economic power to make war on China. We should impose massive tariffs on all goods imported from China. This would disrupt China’s economy, and make them less inclined to invade Taiwan and Ukraine.

I know what you’re thinking, but this wouldn’t actually benefit the US, would it? Of course not, but the same could be said for every war. World War 2, for instance, didn’t benefit the US at all, but it did make the world a safer place. The same could be said for our war in Iraq. The US lost the war, but the world is a safer place for it. This is the case with the US war in China as well. It may not benefit us, but it would make the world a safer place.

The question remains, however, how do the US and the EU work together to achieve this goal? How do we use our economic power to make war on China, without also making war on ourselves?

The answer to this question is that we need to coordinate our economic policy. We need to work together to make sure that our tariffs are coordinated, so that we can put the greatest amount of pressure on China without also putting pressure on ourselves. This is the greatest challenge for global economic policy at the moment.

So to answer the question of how we should deal with China, we should work together to use our military power to make war on China, as a last resort. But we should also use our economic power to make war on China. We should impose tariffs on China to make them less inclined to invade Taiwan and Ukraine. And finally, we should work together to coordinate our economic policy, so that we can make the greatest amount of progress without also making war on ourselves.
