I'd rather work 60 hour weeks for the rest of my life than go back to school and spend 4-6 more years working 20 hour weeks as a teacher.

This might seem crazy to a lot of people but I think it's a better life than most teachers would have to live. I'd be making 6 figure salaries for most of my life, I'd be able to buy a house, pay off my loans, and have a great life with my family. The alternative is 4-6 more years of school and a lifetime of "only" 60k-100k salaries, plus student loans. <br><br>Yeah I know teachers are underpaid but I think most of us know that going into the job. I would never be able to do it, and I really hope there is an afterlife where teachers are rewarded for their hard work. But I think even they would have to agree that a 6 figure salary for most of your life is a lot more appealing than 100-200k total over the course of 40 years.
