I'd rather pay $7.5 for a $20 item than $6 for a $20 item

If the store gives you an offer that for example is 37% off of an item for $20 and you have a coupon for 10% off, would you rather pay $7.5 or $6? <br><br>For me, I'd rather pay $7.5, because if the coupon for 10% off costs me $0.5, I can use it and sell the coupon for $0.5. If I don't want to pay $6, I can just wait for the next offer.<br><br>I think this logic can be applied to a lot of people who use coupons. I'm not sure how this relates to economics, though.
