I gave a customer a bad fake haircut

I've been a hairdresser for over 10 years. I work for a large chain of salons and it's 100% commission. I have to deal with a lot of entitled women who want to lose weight and have it magically fall off in their hair. <br><br>I had a woman who had lost over 70 pounds in a short period of time and was mad because she'd lost a good amount but the rest hadn't touched the scales yet. I felt so bad for her and she was mad because she said it should've just "fallen off". I decided to give her a shitass haircut. I cut it into a terrible bob and it looked awful. I felt awful for her and was terrified she would leave and say something to her husband or family and do something silly. She came back a week later and said she felt so much better. She said she couldn't believe how much better she felt after she stopped obsessing over her weight loss. <br><br>I cried in the back room.
