I've been seeing this subchambers grow quite a bit. The vast majority of people in here are just talking about how annoying communist propaganda is and how they're not interested. This is perfectly fine, because people have a right to ignore things they don't like.

However, I think it's worth addressing the small minority who are actually trying to get people to believe communism is a good idea. In the past week, I've seen several threads and comments that are outright lies, and are presented in the most deceitful ways possible. For example, I've seen threads that say "communist countries are more democratic than capitalist ones." Another example is that "capitalism leads to higher infant mortality rates than communist countries." In one of my recent comments, I was told that the USA is a socialist country and that "capitalism has never existed before." There are many more examples, but I think you get my point.

I'm not a right-winger, I don't hate communism. I think it's an interesting idea, and I see why some people would like it. The thing is, you have to present it honestly. You can't lie to people about its existence, and you can't lie about its benefits. I've seen several people try to do this, and it's just going to drive away the people who are interested in learning more. I'd bet that most people who come to this subchambers aren't here to hate communism, but are instead here because they are interested in learning more. However, when they see that communist propaganda is presented in deceitful and dishonest ways, it will only push them away from communism.

I don't think you can convince people that communism is a good idea when you present it in the most deceitful ways possible.
