I stole 200$ worth of clothes from Target.

This happened recently. I have never stolen anything before, but when I went to the bathroom at the local Target, there was this girl who stole clothes to change out of her clothes. I saw her steal two shirts and a pair of pants and I took the pants and shirts and left. I did not wear them, I just took them. I went back to my car and returned the clothes and stole other clothes. I feel horrible because I am not a thief, but for some reason I felt compelled to steal. I was a very honest kid and I always returned my library books and did not steal things that weren’t mine. I was never in trouble. This is completely out of my character.
