When I was a kid my dad told me that if I was nice to my sister she would treat me better.

I am one of 6 kids. I was the middle kid and my sister was two years older than me. She was so mean to me and picked fights with me. My parents did nothing. My dad told me that if I did anything to upset her to tell him and he would take care of it but he never did. When I told him she was picking fights with me and just being mean to me, he said that it was probably because I wasn't nice to her so I had to try and be nicer to her. This never worked and he still never did anything about it. <br><br>I told him once that I was trying to be nice and she was still treating me like crap. He said it probably wasn't me and to keep trying and that if it didn't work he would do something. He never did anything.<br><br>I have tried to forget this and I think I did but I've been having a lot of trouble with my kids lately and my husband has just completely ignored the issue and done nothing.
