I sold my own mother's wedding ring

My mother was visiting us in my home country for Christmas. She didn't like her 4-star hotel and asked to stay in an even better one at our expense. I refused and we had a big argument about it. A few days later I packed her suitcase for her departure flight and found the wedding ring she had received from my father when they got married. I sold it to a second hand shop and used the money to pay for my bills. I felt guilty about what I did, but I didn't tell anyone. It's been 2 years since then.
