I was a bad cop.

I worked as a police officer in a big city for nearly 8 years and was a good officer. I didn’t take unnecessary calls, I didn’t use racial slurs, and I was generally a good guy. But I also wasn’t a bad guy. I could tell when people weren’t giving their best effort and I could push their buttons. I could sit in my cruiser at a call and wait until someone came out to talk to me. I could write more tickets than I had to, I could be sarcastic to people who were trying to file complaints, and I could just be a dick.<br><br>I was a good officer but I was a bad cop.<br><br>I retired and now work as a private security guard and I’m a good guard too. But I still push peoples’ buttons sometimes. I don’t know why.
