I stole $20 from my mom and I’ve been so terrified of getting caught for 8 days now.

I am 15 years old and I love money. I LOVE money. It just makes me feel good spending it on the little things. Candy, small toys, little accessories for my cat, ect. So, I saved up to get this really good iPhone case that costs $20. My mom bought it for me and as I was opening the box I noticed she was in the room. I didn’t want her to know how much I saved to get it because I know my mom doesn’t like people spending their money on things that are just for pleasure, even though I am just 15 and it’s not a lot of money. So, as she was in the room I secretly put my other phone case under the bed and put that one on instead to hide it and she didn’t see it. Now, for the past 8 days I’ve been terrified of her finding out I stole from her and it’s honestly been driving me insane. I keep thinking about what she will do to me when she finds out and I just want her to never find out.
