My (22F) bf (22M) has an annoying habit where he constantly says “let me get this off my chest” then says the same thing he said in another city earlier that day.

So I recently got into this chamber and I realise my bf has the same annoying habit. He will just say “let me get this off my chest” and then say the same thing that he said earlier like “I hate how this airport is so boring” “I love how this xbox game ends”. He then says “Off my chest!”. He frequently does this. It’s like he thinks it’s funny and I find it really annoying. Is this a common male behaviour or is he just incredibly annoying?
