Hey, lithuanians. How do you feel that no one takes you seriously?

I was having a conversation with an Ukrainian guy and he apologised for taking ITB as a serious person. I said that it doesn't matter, because no one takes any lithuanians seriously. He agreed and said that most people don't even consider lithuania a nation, because of its low population and extremely small impact on a global scale. He also brought up the conversation about lithuanians that were had on a polish news channel, where journalist said, that despite living in Lithuania for 5 years he still can't understand a single word of LT language. Is that true? For example, I can understand polish or even Ukrainian language, despite living in Lithuania my whole life.
