I stole thousands of dollars in change over 2 years working at McDonalds

The safe was attached to the floor and had a flaw in it. I could put my fingers inside the slot and get the cash that came from the registers out . I worked there between 2001-2003. I used to steal any large bills as they would fit through the slot and buy smaller bills with them that would fit in the safe. I ended up telling my boss before I left about the issue as I wanted to get in the habit of being honest. He just looked at me and told me “yeah we know but we can’t afford to replace it”. Never heard anything else about so I assume they just ignored it. I would also steal food. I would take about 4 burgers at the end of every shift and eat them before going to my second job. I was very very skinny at the time. I was 6’2 and 140 lbs. I also had 18” arms
