Made an incident report. What the hell should I do next?

I went to a party on Friday and a man I considered a friend tried to sexually assault me. Made a police report and I’m waiting to hear back. How to I cope in the meantime? I’ve been a wreck. Someone of my closest friends know and I told my parents but I’m just feeling hopeless.<br><br>EDIT: <br>thank you to everyone that commented, I really didn’t expect this many responses.
