What are your favorite assumptions that people make about the cultures of other countries that aren't true?

I once saw a YouTube video where someone in the comments asked if it was true that if you go to China and ask for directions to Starbucks, he'll take you there himself and that this is a weird method for them to get kidnap people. I've lived in Beijing for 22 years and have never heard anything like this before. This made me curious and I want to know what are some weird stereotypes or assumptions about cultures that you've seen that aren't true.
