I stole $40 from my mom.

My mom was selling a game on eBay and it had gotten stolen during the shipping. I asked her if she had looked in my room or my box. She said no, so I went in my room and checked and it was there. I told my mom and she said that she will check again and sure enough it was in the box. I went downstairs and asked my mom what happened. She said she sold it and she was wondering why I didn't get the money. I said that the game is in the box. She told me to open the box. I did and there it was. So she checked the shipping info and it was there too. So she gave me $40. <br><br>I got home from school the next day and I checked my room and it was gone. I checked the box and it was gone. I asked my mom about it and she said it was stolen again. So I checked my room and box and it wasn't there. I told my mom and she said she would ask my dad what happened to it. I told my dad what happened and he asked my mom if she gave me $40. He said no because that's the buyers money and I told him that I didn't get the money. I told him what happened to the game and he said that I should keep the game. <br><br>I felt bad so I kept it for the rest of the day. I asked my mom what I should do and she said to just keep it. So I did. <br><br>I asked my dad again what I should do and he told me to keep it and that the buyer will never know.<br><br>I got home from school the next day and I had no idea what I was doing with the game. I had no idea how to sell it or anything like that. So I kept it again. <br><br>I don't know if I should keep it. It was my moms fault for not being more careful with it.
