How much time do men spend applying what they see on YouTube videos about dating into "real life"?

I never watched them but I see them all the time in my recommendations. I wonder if men actually watch them and do the "pick up line" or "getting girls to do xyz trick" or "how to make a girl fall in love in 5 mins" type of stuff. I have a few guy friends tell me that they're a joke and are mostly for entertainment. I'm curious because it seems like there is a ton of these videos and they get a lot of views...
