So I guess I'm throwing this out as a bitter Midwesterner might as it's 108°F with a heat index of 121°F. Most Midwestern homes are relatively wide open inside, so the best it's going to be is 95°F when the house cools down. I guess the point of this is that people who live in warmer areas can just stay cooler at home, or even go to a store if they need to. When it is this hot, even the house provides no respite. It can literally be 75°F-80°F at 3AM. I don't think people who live in really hot areas understand what living in heat like this is like.
