CMV: The environment is a lost cause, and putting our efforts and money into terraforming a new planet makes more sense than investing it in Earth.

As the title says. I've felt this way for a long time now. More recently, I've realized it'd be beneficial to put some of the money invested in saving the planet into terraforming a new planet. I know this is basically an "invest in space exploration instead of saving environment cause" argument, but I figured it was more accurate to say terraforming a new planet. I've figured that this is a change-my-view-y topic.<br><br>Edit: I said this post for Mars terraforming, not interstellar terraforming. <br><br>Edit: I apologize for not responding to every comment, there's lots of them.
