I do not feel safe anymore

I'm not an American but I feel like I've lost a friend. <br><br>I've been following this channel for months now and it's been a very interesting ride.<br><br>I've been feeling shaken to my core and I find myself beginning to lose hope.<br><br>I have a family and kids and we are having a very hard time here in the Philippines. <br><br>We're just barely surviving and I'm not sure if we can survive a war.<br><br>The prospect of a nuclear war or WW3 makes me feel helpless and anxious. It's like we're being held hostage by the decisions of these powerful politicians.<br><br>I just want peace and for all this to be over.<br><br>I want my children to feel safe and grow up with a bright future.<br><br>But with this kind of political climate, I have to admit that it's scary to think about the future.<br><br>I don't blame anyone. Politicians will be politicians and they have to do what they have to do in order to protect the country.<br><br>But as a parent, I can't help but fear for my children's future.<br><br>I know I'm not alone in this.<br><br>But sometimes, I wish that people could feel what it's like to be in our shoes.<br><br>I want to wake up one day and not have to fear another war.<br><br>I want to sleep at night with a peace of mind.<br><br>I want my children to grow up and have a good life.<br><br>Is that too much to ask?
