GPT is Good for Chat...but also Good for Other Things

When I first started using GPT, I was so excited by the potential for self improvement. ChatGPT showed me that it was possible to have a knowledgeable AI assistant as a study partner, which could help me with any questions I had on topics I wanted to learn more about. And it was affordable. <br><br>However, the chat function of GPT is only one of many ways that GPT can be used. It can also be used to generate text to text images or videos, it can be used to generate command-line interfaces, it can be used to generate databases, spreadsheets, etc. That means that the demand for GPT is not just from chat users, but also from users of other GPT applications. <br><br>It is my gut feeling that the demand for GPT is going to continue to increase, and not only from chat users, but also from other applications.<br><br>If this is the case, and the OpenAI company has only a finite amount of resources to devote to each of the different applications of its GPT, then maybe we will never see a future where GPT remains stable for long periods of time. <br><br>Maybe the future will always be a future of ups and downs, where the demand for GPT resources exceeds the availability.
