Why does Captain Marvel not brag about her accompishments?

I just watched Captain Marvel and I like the movie and the actress but something doesn't make sense to me. She doesn't brag about her accomplishments.<br><br>I am used to Captain Marvel saving the Earth and then bragging about what she did. What I like about the movie is it's the opposite instead of Captain Marvel saving the world it's Captain Marvel being saved/kicked around by a female Airforce pilot. Captain Marvel gets saved by the US Airforce pilot who shot her out of the sky with a missle. It's one of the best scenes in the movie.<br><br>I don't like the other movies because in them she is for the most part the hero who saves the world. Here she is the hero who is saved by the world. It's a much better movie this way.
