Someone was in my room while I was asleep

I’m 23F and when I was 12 my parents got divorced and moved to my current hometown.<br><br>My mom moved us in with her boyfriend for the first year 1/2 we were here. <br><br>He had 2 sons and they’re a few years older than me.<br><br>One night I was sleeping and I woke up to get water. As I was walking down the hallway I noticed the front door wide open. I was so confused and I crept down the hallway and peeked into the living room.<br><br>That’s when I saw my mom’s boyfriend and his sons all with guns acting very serious. I was so scared that I immediately hid behind the wall closest to me and peeked around the corner. At one point one of the sons looked down the hallway and I immediately pulled my head back behind the wall. I stood there frozen until I heard the front door shut and they were talking to someone in the front yard. I slowly went back to my room and got back in bed on high alert.<br><br>When I woke up the next morning I waited for my mom to get off work and I told her what I saw. She said that the boyfriend and his sons were all out of their rooms and in the living room but that she didn’t hear anything on our end of the house. She said she didn’t think much of it because she was in her bedroom and thought maybe they were just talking and then she went to sleep. She also said that 3 bedrooms are all on our end the house and that they let us have the “calm” side of the house while they have the “noisy” side. She was just really confused and said that she didn’t hear anything.<br><br>I told her that I saw guns and my mom said that they don’t own guns unless they have some hidden. She said that 3 of them doesn’t fit in her car so she’s not sure how they would’ve left during the night.<br><br>She also said that the boyfriend works a night job at a gas station so he left for work before I went to sleep.<br><br>We didn’t speak about it again after that because I didn’t want to bring it up. It was 11 years ago and I’m still thinking about it and it creeps me out.<br><br>I never spoke to the boyfriend or sons ever since. They’re really quiet and weird acting. <br><br>I don’t know if that’s weird or not but it’s still in my head and freaks me out even tho it was so long ago.
