Not sure what to think but last night I saw the most unexplainable thing

Last night I went on a drive, I was just driving aimlessly and enjoying the night. I live in a relatively rural area, I live next to a lake. I was driving like 5-10 miles away and I came to a 4 way intersection. I was turning left and looked to my left to see if anyone was coming. No one was, so I proceeded to turn. As I'm turning I look to my right to see if anyone is coming and all of a sudden I see a car pull to my right. I was like oh shit, but for some reason I knew there wasn't a car coming so I didn't stop. It was as if my brain had premeditated the outcome. I finished turning and looked to my right and the car was not there. It was like..... what the fuck just happened. I know I'm not going crazy, I saw a car. I don't know if this falls under the glitch in the matrix category but its weird as hell. Any thoughts??
