CMV: Joe Biden's current performance is a net negative for the Democratic party's chances in the 2024 election.

Joe Biden is a polarizing figure who will always have detractors. That's to be expected. But the fact that he can't seem to connect with his base, his historically low approval ratings, his inability to get anything done through the legislature, his bumbling of the economy, his poor decision making regarding Ukraine, etc. are all issues that are costing him support and are hurting the Democratic party overall.<br><br>This is why I think it would be a good idea for Democrats to start seriously considering alternative candidates to support in the 2024 primary. Biden is a good man who has served this country well, but he has to go.
