I'm a student in 11th grade and I am in charge of making a this movie for a historic event, that our school is holding. The event is based on the 21/22 this movie is going be a slideshow with all the best pictures we could find. I wanted to make the movie a little more interesting so I added some music in the background. I also added some audio of students talking about their favorite memory from the year. When I showed the movie to the teacher in charge of the event, she was very impressed and so were some other teachers. She gave me a copy of the movie that I could keep. The teacher told me that she would show the movie infront of everyone. I was very happy. Then they showed the movie, but with some edits. They muted the music and replace the audio with music of some random instrumental song. I was mad that they changed it like that, but whatever. The teacher told me that she edited it because this was a school setting. I told her that a Joel Coen movie was played in school last year, but she told me that it was a classic and had meaning. I told her that my movie was the same and she told me to not compare myself to Joel Coen. I asked if she could put up my edit of the movie and she didn't respond. I uploaded my edit to Youtube and gave the link to some of my friends. They also loved the video. They told me that it was better than what the school showed. I felt like a little proud I guess. Then, I told the teacher that I uploaded the video and she was not happy. She told me that I shouldn't have put up the video due to the cussing and that we're in school. I asked how they can tell me what to do with a copy of the movie and she told me to take it down. I asked if I was allowed to put it up if I censored the audio and she told me that I shouldn't have put it up my edit in the first place.

So AITA for putting up the video in the first place?
