I was a lazy, big, and stupid kid that's become a skinny, smart adult and I love rubbing it in everyone's face who treated me like crap because of how I looked.

I was referred to as papa Smurf as a kid. I was a very big kid, and not really fat, just big. I was self conscious and suffered from horrible migraines as a kid which meant I did little to no sport at school. I also suffered with anxiety and depression even as a young kid. I had a few attempts with school counsellors with little success. (if you think I am bragging here I am not, I am just telling my story and I am still in therapy to this day)

I was one of the select few picked out by a teacher who "couldn't see a future for" and directed straight onto a course of building and mechanics. Even though I could do math and English "well", she said algebra wouldn't help me in the real world. I found solace in IT, and was referred to as the brainy fat kid who "knew a lot on computers" by the rest of the class. Math class was split in two, with the "clever" kids and the "not so clever kids" (me). I was asked if I could help out a few of the smarter kids with IT help when their mac wouldn't turn on or something. The headmaster actually asked me if I had cheated because "we didn't see it in you". I went on to University, and whilst the rest of my class were getting the most basic of degrees, I was working towards a degree in IT. I suffered with depression, alongside health problems and a very serious motorcycle crash. I had a big life change and lost a lot of weight and started to get fit. I graduated top of my class and was the student of the year. Peoples attitudes towards me changed, they were all of a sudden a lot nicer. I went on to get a really good career with great pay that's enabled me to live in a nice house and travel where I want etc. I still suffer with depression and anxiety but I have dealt with that as a grown adult, I have moved away from my hometown and only go back occasionally, and I really do rub it in people's faces. I see how my career has progressed and how I have dealt with the world and done everything I thought I couldn't as a kid. Meanwhile they are working for minimum wage and in the same job they were in at 18.
