CMV: The best way to save America is to stop voting for Democrats

I'm not saying that the party has to become the other party, but I really think that if the country is to survive and thrive, we need to have a president who will appoint judges and other government officials that are more conservative. I feel like if a conservative candidate can win the primary, they can win the general election. I also think that many of the current Democratic candidates are morally corrupt and are only interested in their power and wealth, not the American people. <br><br>My reasoning behind this is that Democrats have held the house for years now, and yet we still have a president who is trying to dismantle the ACA. Republicans also held both the house and senate during the last presidency and did not get anything done. <br><br>I understand that the second amendment is important, but if we are to make America a safer place, we need to pass gun control legislation. Republicans have not been able to pass this legislation, but if we get more Republicans in Congress, it won't pass. I know some will argue that the democrats are just blocking it, but I'm not sure that's true. I just don't believe that they have a moral obligation to do so. <br><br>I understand this is a pretty long post and I hope I can get some good responses.
