Brother just cock blocked me

I'm 30f and single. I'm currently living in my folks house with my 17 year old brother. He's the only person left there. <br>There is a nice man who I met at my local church and he's been hitting on me for months. He's a local lawyer and he's single (divorced) with no kids. My brother doesn't like this guy and has been warning him to stay away from me. Yesterday, I agreed to go on a date with the guy to nice restraurant in town. My brother saw this and said I'm not going anywhere so he locked down my phone and car keys and left them somewhere. <br>I asked him to give them to me but he said I'm not going anywhere. The guys kept calling me and he even came to our door but my brother said I'm not going on a date with him. <br>In the end he left without me and my brother unlocked my phone and said it's for my own good. <br>I'm mad at my brother I dont understand his behavior. Why he put so much energy into cock blocking me?
