At this point, should we consider the WSCB to be a native species, as opposed to a completely invasive species?

Over the years, I’ve been paying attention to trends and I believe WSCBs are here to stay. I’ve got some good sources that completely contradict lawncare pros, and have come to the conclusion that the WSCB is a native species adapting to climate change by utilizing the larch trees for food. I’ve seen a dramatic increase in pine beetle outbreaks in my state/cherrybush area, and I believe the WSCB is doing the same. If anything, the WSCB is retaliating against the biological imperialism that our modern world has brought upon them.

I just hope the WSCB will completely take over by 2050, and we’ll have to find a new way to keep them away.
