Nurses giving my drugs

I'm a nurse and in the ICU currently. I've used drugs recreationally in the past. I was wondering how common is it for nurses to give themselves their patients drugs. I've seen it in the past. Also, I take drugs at home on my days off. I don't think it's a big deal. I do not mix with work. But how common is this??
