Idk man, I’m getting kinda nervous about the advancements. Isn’t it getting a bit too much?

Sorry to ruin the mood here, as I want to believe that AI could also help us, but let’s be real here. If this technology falls in the wrong hands, like the ones who would want to hold onto the power we all know damn well, things could be bad really bad. I 100% agree that it should be controlled, but who’s to say that they never will. They have also been around for about a decade now, and I don’t think they will ever be gone unless an immediate threat to us all now. I’m just naturally paranoid about this stuff. I’m sorry if I’m ruining the mood as this sub does in fact love AI, I mean I do too. Honestly I’m also interested in the idea of a future where humans and AI live along each other, but I’m sure a lot now is thinking of the negative side effects. I mean we all know who holds the power in our society. I just can’t help but think of this every time I hear something new about it.
