Why is ChatGPT not better at understanding a persons writing style?

It *could* be better. The training data is there. But it can't actually read your writing style and write like *you*. Which is all that I use the goddamn program for.

I want to pay less every month for this service because they aren't using my money to develop features that I am actually going to use.

I don't want to be able to talk to my AI friend more or anything like that. The writing style function is a top priority. I use it to make sure my writing is grammatically correct and has sentence flow. And ChatGPT is generally bad at this because it tries to write like it wants, not the way I am writing. I just can't seem to teach it to do it how I'd like. Maybe it can't. Maybe I am expecting too much. But I think it is definitely possible. I don't think it's a stretch at all. But we don't have that feature. Just some "models" that I can match to certain styles (often not even well), but I just want to write some text and have it understand my writing style.

Why is this not a feature we have yet? Why are they not working on it? Or if they were working on it, why is it not a feature yet?
