CMV: The U.S. should move away from the "you can't take God out of schools" and "separation of church and state" argument.

This has been something that has been on my mind lately. I'm in my 30s and I feel like I've seen the amount of times this is brought up has increased. I know that the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of separation of church and state. I also know that the U.S. was founded by Christian people, in a Christian environment, and many of the first settlers were fleeing persecution because they were Christian. I believe that our country should not be pushing for removal of Christian symbols and influences from public places. I believe that we should be moving towards the idea of religious freedom and not just Christian freedom.
