I have an Asian accent. Am I an Asian?

I think you're stupid if you think so. Just because an accent doesn't = a race. An accent is just something that happens when 2 cultures come into contact with each other. I'm glad that America is a melting pot, that means there will be many cultures in the future. This is a good thing, cause more and more our cultures will be exchanged and we will have better cultural exchange. An accent doesn't mean anything, its just an accent. I'm glad we come from different races, it's great that we are not all the same. Our cultures are different because we live different lives. And it's good that we live different lives.<br><br>Edit: I'm Asian, and I'm proud of it. I'm proud of my heritage and where I come from. I love both my cultures. And it's great that we have both. An accent is just something that we hear.<br><br>Edit #2: I know I'm Asian. I know what race I am. I'm just saying, I don't care about my accent. An accent doesn't define race for me. I'm happy to have the heritage that I have. I'm proud to be Asian. I'm just saying an accent doesn't = a race.<br><br>Edit #3: I agree with my friend who said to me, "if someone brought an Asian baby to America, will he be considered an American?" No, he will still be Asian. Just because you have an accent doesn't mean you are a different race. I'm glad to be Asian.
