CMV: The 20th century is not the best century in human history

The 20th century was the worst century in human history. World War 2, the Russian civil war, the Armenian genocide, the Vietnam war, the holocaust, the Japanese war crimes, the atrocities of the Nazis and the Russians. This was the worst century. The world was in shambles. The 19th century was a period of colonialism, imperialism, the Opium Wars and the forced opiate addiction of the Chinese. The world was in chaos. The 18th century saw the 7 year war, the 9 year war, the wars of the Spanish and Austrian succession and the devastating and genocidal wars of the 1700s. The 17th century saw the 30 year war, the English civil war and the 80 year war. This was the most violent period in the 17th century. The 16th century saw the 100 years war between France and England, the 30 year war, the Italian wars, the Ottoman wars and the devastating wars of the Spanish empire. The 15th century saw the 100 years war, the Ottoman wars, the wars of the rose and the devastating wars of the Italian city states. The 14th century saw the black death and the devastating wars of the 14th century. The 13th century saw the Mongol conquest of China, the Crusades and the devastating wars of the Mongols in Asia. The 12th century saw the 2nd crusade, the devastating wars of the Mongols in Asia and the wars of the Byzantine empire. The 11th century saw the 1st crusade, the wars of the Norman conquest of England and the devastating wars of the Viking era. The 10th century saw the 1st invasion of England by the Danes and the devastating wars of the Viking era. The 9th century saw the 1st invasion of England by the Vikings and the devastating wars of the Viking era. The 8th century saw the wars of the Arabs and the Byzantine empire, the 1st invasion of England by the Vikings, and the devastating wars of the Viking era.
