If someone told you the earth is flat, would you think they are a delusional moron?

Yet we have people here calling the overwhelming majority of scientists morons and delusional for saying the earth is round, like this person who is constantly posting that "science is wrong and communism is right." <br><br>I understand not wanting a communist utopia, but what's wrong with these people? Why would you want to defend a political ideology based on a delusional moron who has been proven wrong time and time again, instead of just calling them a moron and moving on?<br><br>Is the idea of defending a delusional ideology and calling the majority of scientists morons just so hot for some reason?
