I'm a redditor who's never browsed 4chan before. This is what I think based on the FAQ

So on my lunch break I decided to learn about this place. It's pretty funny shit. I'm not going to go into the whole website because that takes more time than I'm willing to spend, but the faq is pretty good so far. <br><br>So here are my thoughts so far:<br><br>* I really hope that 'New' is a troll because that would be hilarious<br>* So this is the internet's "Pollution Basin" sort of like when the oil and shit from the roads of Salt Lake City drain into the big saltwater lake nearby and create a disgusting chemical sludge. I like it.<br>* I hope rule number one is a troll. But it probably isn't. <br>* "When in doubt thug it out" is a good philosophy. I might have to live by this. <br>*I like the list of things that you aren't allowed to talk about. It sounds sort of like how you aren't allowed to talk about Fight Club. Don't talk about the website, or you will be banned (or beaten up by a bald waxed muscle man). <br>* Meh on the second list. I already know from the FAQ that you guys aren't going to like me because I'm an actual person so I might as well talk about this stuff and get you guys angry. Video games are fun. Politics is interesting sometimes. I think I'll be Blocked by several people shortly.<br>* You guys seem to have a strong hatred for chambers and its people. Like, I get it, we can be annoying. But is there some sort of history here? Why does everyone seem to hate us?<br>* Your boards sound like something from a fantasy novel. I like that. I'm going to swat my fly with my willow leaf and head to the shire. <br>* This FAQ was written by a troll. I do not know how much information here is real, and how much is just made up for laughs. This is good though. <br>* Meh on the Emotions part. It's the Internet. Nobody cares. This reminds me of when Jon Stewart was on Crossfire and they told him he wasn't funny and he said 'oh, sorry. I forgot that Comedy Central viewers were the only ones who were allowed to be humorous. You guys are much more important than I'll ever be, but still, Comedy Central viewers are more important than me, and they don't care'. Good job on getting your own gold star. You guys are still irrelevant. <br>*I don't really care about your boards.<br>* Your users sound like something from a fantasy novel too. I like this. <br>* I sort of wish I was here when this place first started. It sounds like it would have been fun to watch this sinkhole develop. <br>* Your culture sounds like a mixture of the Culture from Iain M. Banks and the Culture from the Discworld book. Your sink is sort of like Anoia as well. <br>* Meh on your history. I already know that I'm not welcome here. I'm not going to go into your 'archive' of 'banned words'. It sounds like more of a sink than the rest of the site.<br>* Your slang sounds like something from a fantasy novel too. I sort of want to live here. <br>* tl;dr: It's nice to live in a fantasy world.
