NBA players protesting without a coherent, agreed-upon plan is basically a tantrum, not productive.

I fully support NBA players (and Americans) bringing light to the problems we have in this country. But the way the Lakers and other teams have suddenly begun boycotting, without a clear, unified plan in place of what they want to happen in place of their protests, is not going to help this cause.

They knew what was happening when they agreed to play their season in the bubble. Suddenly deciding to not play now, when that was the agreement, is not going to help bring justice. In reality, the best way to influence change is to play, to speak out, to donated money and time. The more they stay in the public consciousness, the more positive influence they can have in changing our country.

I don't know how the players can just decide to not play, when they have a contractual obligation to do so. It just seems like all the teams are now following the Bucks, without any sort of plan for what's next.
